Modelling Metribuzin Removal Efficiency Through Adsorption Using Activated Carbon of Olive-waste Cake

چکیده
Abstract A simple mathematical model is developed for the prediction of Metribuzin removal efficiency through adsorption using activated carbon olive-waste cake any combination input conditions. Based on earlier experimental results, factors from three independent variables (pH, initial concentration and adsorbent dose concentration) were incorporated in model. All are multiplied to derive a combined diminishing factor, which with maximum achievable efficiency. It found that although results having good correlation (0.92) those slightly away ideal line. Through introduction an adjustment predictions closely matching measured values coefficient 0.96. The primary predicted standard errors as RMSE = 6.34, MAE 5.99 RAE 0.07, whereas same error statistics adjusted 1.97, 1.71 0.01, respectively. Such modelling technique will predict parameters, at times required be changed other constraints.

Equilibrium and kinetic study for the adsorption of p-nitrophenol from wastewater using olive cake based activated carbon
The present work was carried out to evaluate the removal of p-nitrophenol by adsorption onto olive cake based activated carbon having a BET surface area of 672 m²/g. The batch adsorption experimental results indicated that the equilibrium time for nitrophenol adsorption by olive cake-based activated carbon was 120min. The adsorption data was modeled by equilibrium and kinetic models. The pseudo...
متن کاملAdsorption Studies on the Removal of Pesticides(Carbofuran) using Activated Carbon from Rice Straw Agricultural Waste
In this study, we used a two-stage process and potassium hydroxide (KOH) to transform waste biomass (rice straw) into activated carbon and then evaluated the adsorption capacity of the waste for removing carbofuran from an aqueous solution. Activated carbon was fast and effective for the removal of carbofuran because of its high surface area. The native and carbofuran-loaded adsorbents were cha...
